Cancellation Policy

At Dirty Dogs Grooming, every appointment is carried out with care, patience and a focus on your dog’s comfort. Please read the following before booking. Training Status I am currently completing a City & Guilds Level 2 Dog Grooming qualification. This is a hands-on training period, so appointments may take slightly longer and some services are offered at a reduced rate upon collection. Your dog will always be handled calmly and safely. Bookings All appointments must be booked online with accurate details (breed, size, coat type, behaviour). Incorrect bookings may result in time adjustments or price changes. We will perform a basic health check before any grooming takes place. Payments Payment may be taken at booking or on arrival. Prices can vary depending on coat condition, size and behaviour. Any changes will be discussed first. Cancellations A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged 50% of the appointment fee. Arrival Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment or rescheduling. Do not arrive more than 5 minutes before you appointment time. Dog Welfare Your dog’s wellbeing is the priority. Please inform me of any medical or behavioural issues. Severely matted coats may need to be clipped shorter for welfare reasons. If a dog becomes too stressed, the groom may be stopped. Puppies First grooms are kept short and positive to build confidence rather than complete a full groom. Health & Fleas Do not bring unwell dogs. If fleas are found, the appointment may be stopped and a cleaning fee applied. Collection Dogs must be collected promptly once ready. Right to Refuse I reserve the right to refuse or stop a groom if it risks safety, the dog is overly stressed, or incorrect information was provided.
