At The Dirty Dogs Club, we want to get it right. We want all dogs (and owners) to feel content, comfortable and calm when they leave our studio. Our goal is to train to the highest standard we can, whilst gaining practical, hands-on experience with different breeds, sizes and temperaments. We are building a space where all dogs are welcome, but always managed and carefully handled while they are with us.

We are currently undergoing a practical, hands-on City & Guilds Level 2 Dog Grooming qualification and we have already seen a number of dogs for grooming, bathing and general maintenance. 

 

The dogs we see during our opening stage will form part of our second round of hands-on training.

Experienced in handling large and reactive dogs, we aim to get to know every one of our members (the dogs) properly. We want to know their likes, dislikes, fears, fumbles, sore spots and stiff bits.  Our goal is to know and treat every dog as if it was our own, ensuring genuine connection with each dog we see.

As we are still in training, we ask for understanding that not everything will be perfect yet - but your dog’s welfare, comfort and safety will always come first, and that standard will never be compromised.
